Personal blog

This blog was created and designed for a more personal use. It was made for my family and friends back in Oslo so that they could keep up with what I were doing at Hyper Island. The design has a sketchy - "hand crafted" look, with many hand made illustrations that makes the design very unique.

Not many days after it was launched, it received enormous response from different parts of the design community. It's featured on more than 15 different web design galleries and showcases and through those the traffic to the site literally exploded. The blog meant for 10-15 people back in Oslo turned out to be something completely different.

The design process was incredibly fun. To create something that would represent me by just using illustrations, colors and typography was a interesting and I learned a lot by challenging myself, as I have never done much illustrations. It turns out that people really can enjoy drawings even if they are not even close to reality.
